Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco

Absolutely loved this place, new favorite in SF. Got complimentary champagne and everything ! Maria at the front desk was super friendly and even upgraded our room for us for free. Highly recommend! Game room downstairs is amazing

Me and my boyfriend spend a lot of our time at his hotel . The location is perfect . Next to Macy's in union square. The rooms at the hotel are nice size , not too small . The suites are even better. It comes with a living room and bedroom. If the suite doesn't have a record player already in it then you can request one. Theres a Big game room downstairs. Basketball , ski ball , pool . Ect. They also have a restaurant next door that you can enter from the hotel. They got pretty good milkshakes.

I booked Hotel Zeppelin through Airbnb and just found out it was too late to leave a review for them on that site. I am so sorry Hotel Zeppelin! Although I grew up in the Midwest and am now living back home, I lived in San Francisco long enough to be considered a San Franciscan (we do have an equation for that - it's a mix of a certain amount of residency, a certain number of one-of-a-kind experiences, personality, and.... well, you gotta know Karl). Anyway, as a San Franciscan coming home to visit, I couldn't have picked a better place to call home base. Hotel Zeppelin is retro, super fun, and it captures the essence of our sweet city. Centrally located in the heart of Union Square, it's so easy to reach anywhere in the city. Local favorite everythings are RIGHT there - Tunnel Top, Stockton Tunnel, Summer Place, HiLo Cocktail Bar, Cinch Bar, R Bar, Cordon Bleu...head through Dragon's Gate to Chinatown to hit Vesuvio, City Lights, Specs, Lipo Lounge, Mr Bings, Mama G;s. And the rooms are neat. Cool. Interesting. Funky. (clean obviously). Record players available on request. Staff are accommodating. Friendly. Helpful. And come with that San Francisco quirk and sense of humor that you will find nowhere else. As a true San Franciscan that no longer has the privilege of living there, I would recommend Hotel Zeppelin to anyone who is looking for a true SF experience.

It was my first time visiting San Francisco, and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff and housemaids were very friendly. This location was great in my opinion it was a very quick walk to restaurants, the train/bus station, as well as close to shopping at Union Square. I felt safe the entire time, and I didn’t find anything wrong with the area at all. It’s not really in the main traffic gridlock of anything and I thought that was great. This being my first time visiting SF I wasn’t sure where to stay, but I am glad I booked this hotel.

Brilliant 3 day stay. We loved everything about it. Rooms and decor in whole hotel are amazing and funky. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff so helpful and kind. Perfectly situated in Union Square as well for getting to all the major sights

This is a stunning hotel that should be seen first-hand. Being in the hospitality industry myself, it's all about anticipating the needs of your guests and specifically it's in the details. This location is chic yet cozy, & even the choice of toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, etc) will leave you not just clean, but invigorated! There are tiny luxuries here! Enjoy!

This place is a gem. It's near to Union square, the cable cars, and munno. It's walking distance to some great places like Chinatown and Salesforce Park. The staff went above and beyond for my birthday trip: handwritten wishes, free cappuccino with my breakfast, and lots of verbal birthday wishes. The shower is great temperature and pressure. Hotel is lovely inside and the rooms are just what you need, we stayed here for 3 nights and although the location is perfect if you’d rather Union Square - however if you want to see the sights such as golden bridge they are quite a bit away.
